Betty Ford's Ultimate Fight

Growing up in Michigan, I have always had a special place in my heart for the Ford family. The Ford name is a household name in these parts. It represents not only our Ford car industry but also the Detroit Lions with the National Football League.

President Ford  passed away at the age of 93, the longest ever living president! I was thrilled to be able to attend the viewing of his casket in 2006, standing in line for a chance to stand in silence in front of his American flagged draped casket and pray. I also got to sign his guest book that will forever be shown on display inside. The gun salute and the jet planes that rushed over the Grand River was something I will never forget.

Everlast Is Also Fighting For a Cure

PSA 2011 Fall Spectacular

I wanted to share a quick video of the event in which my husband and I had the opportunity to model in. Yes, my husband agreed to walk the runway with me showing his support. He has been the most amazing God loving husband a wife could ask for. Days are not always easy, marriage takes effort, but together and being committed, you can do anything together.

We walked hand in hand for the PSA Fall Spectacular. (Plastic Surgery Associates).  All the runway models were dressed in clothing from the boutiques located in the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel where PSA is located on the 6th and 7th floors.

Ladies, there are no excuse for using cosmetics full of junk and chemicals which then penetrate into your skin. Almost all of the chemicals in your beauty products can be linked back to all sorts of diseases and now cancer being named the number one side effect. Really think about. How much you do you put on your body in one day? Then you do it day in and day out. It's scary!

I have been doing my research in finding other breast cancer foundations that believe what I do. That our environment is much of our problem. As much as we need money for research and to find a cure, we need to stop harming ourselves and putting ourselves at a greater risk. Be aware of the beauty products you are using and the cleaning supplies in your house.

Did you know that sleeping with your bra on at night will increase your chances of breast cancer by 113%??? That was a shocker to me. I had never heard that one before.

Title Boxing For Breast Cancer Awareness

For the month of October I want to quickly address different companies which are participating in the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
