PSA 2011 Fall Spectacular

I wanted to share a quick video of the event in which my husband and I had the opportunity to model in. Yes, my husband agreed to walk the runway with me showing his support. He has been the most amazing God loving husband a wife could ask for. Days are not always easy, marriage takes effort, but together and being committed, you can do anything together.

We walked hand in hand for the PSA Fall Spectacular. (Plastic Surgery Associates).  All the runway models were dressed in clothing from the boutiques located in the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel where PSA is located on the 6th and 7th floors.

Each model was a survivor and conqueror. We first walked individually and then we came out together as group at the end as seen in the video below. It was pretty amazing. I was interviewed at the end of my walk about being named the 2011 Honorary Team New Balance Member (survivor) Of The Year and then they quickly asked my hubs a few questions. It was a great moment.

I would never have wanted to grow up to be a breast cancer conqueror, let alone named Team New Balance Honorary Member, as I didn't even know that existed. So still all glory to GOD. But now that I am in this position I am thankful for the opportunity to tell everyone to get checked early.

This is the second event I have done where someone walked up to me and said "Didn't we go to high school together?" I am now reunited with two classmates, all three of us born in 1974, diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We must be aware of our bodies and get them looked at BEFORE 40!

Using TRUE makeup which is Paraben Free and plant based.
