KettleWorx Works!

Tired of doing long workouts or spending hours in the gym each week? Want something challenging for your muscles in only 20 min? KettleWorx is your program.

I have had my KettleWorx DVD's and bell since the beginning of December. I did the DVD's for a few weeks, but instead of three times a week as they suggest, I did it almost every day. With it only being 20 minutes, I was thinking it couldn't possibly have results as in an hour workout program. But my co-workers can confirm, there were many days, I was so sore I couldn't get up from my desk.

For those of you who don't know, a kettle bell is much like a cannon ball with a handle. KettleWorx offers the bell in a five pound, ten pound (shown here), and twenty pound. I used the 10 pound as it's a little more challenging and advanced for a woman. Ryan, the founder of KettleWorx, uses a 20 pound, which is the suggested weight for you boys. You receive the bell with the program so you get everything you need to start working out right away. I would also highly recommend wrist bands. This was the only downfall for me personally. Doing the straight arm moves where the bell is rested on the back of your wrist is actually quite uncomfortable. This may not apply to all of you, but wristbands are a must for me.

The DVD's are filmed differently than any workout DVD I have owned to date. Each move is filmed with a different group of guys/gals and Ryan is leading you through the moves. A KettleWorx logo then flashes across the screen and it's on to another individually filmed exercise. When 10 min. has gone by, you repeat the circuit and the same clips are shown again. Each clip on the DVD, depending on the workout, is arraigned in conjunction with which body part you are focusing on for the day. You would think it would get old and boring but Ryan has a personality which jumps through the screen and you don't care if he said the same thing 10 times already. You just want to workout.

I could go on and on about this program, but no one can tell you better than the founder himself: Ryan Shanahan. Take a few minutes and watch this informative video.

Interested in trying the KettleWorx program for yourself? Here's your chance! KettleWorx is giving a FREE KettleWorx Essentials DVD series to one of my lucky subscribers. (They are also adding the bell as this particular program does not come with one. It is set up for those who already own their own bell). Once a winner is selected you will choose the bell weight of either 5 or 10 pounds, depending on your workout level.

I think it's interesting that the kettleball is "unstable" unlike a dumbbell, thus making you work harder and engage more muscles. I know that people will use Bosus to make the floor unstable, but I never thought about making the weights unstable.

Some reasons why I think KettleWorx would be awesome...200 exercises which means keeping it fresh and not getting bored, complete workout with cardio, core and resistance instead of spending hours working various muscle groups, building long lean muscles as opposed to bulking up, the different sizes the kettlebell comes in and the unique design which seems like it would be easier to hold on to (I hate that some of the other weights slip easy or the covering on them is irritating to the skin) and of course the fast fat burn cause goodness know I got the fat to burn!
I really do think this would be a great workout program for me! I would love to win since I need to drop 100 lbs; I'm rearing to go, motivated and look forward to daily workouts. So this would put to good use and make a great addition to my lifestyle change!
Thanks for the chance!

Amazing package .I really like that one of the DVD packages, The Ultimate Body Sculpting Collection , on 4 DVDs would work for me.I can do this in 6 weeks and it states that it requires only three 20-minute workouts per week! I need to get in shape and I don't feel comfortable when I go to a gym,I rather work out at home. A wedding,my only daughter is getting married ,I have to look good in the pictures and off to Mexico this year so I want to look good in a bathing suit and not a beached whale! Its fabulous that you can be in shape in 6 weeks.I like this program,it would fit me well.
My son is always at the gym and I know he would love this program also.
Thanks for the chance!

Being a triathlete, a gym onwner and prone to injury, I'm always looking for different types of core training that is fun and not your typical ab routine. I must admit that I want this set because I am skeptical. I already do 30 mins of resistance training a week. 5 x cardio training and also 5x weight training that is fast triple sets. If Kettleworx is telling me that I can reduce my time in the gym and incorporate their routine and see results in as little as 6 weeks...I WANT TO TRY THIS!! Strength training, resistance and core training is my profession and I'm always looking for new exercise to share with my clients as well. If you were to pick me...I have over 300 women in my gym that I share kettleworx with (that is, if it works for me)! Only one way to find out though! ;)

This looks like a great workout. I would love this for my husband. He is working so hard to get in better shape. He goes to the gym everyday. He is even trying to keep up with the younger guys in his moi tai class. I don't even know how to spell it. Last week the poor thing got a black eye just holding the darn pads up for someone and wasn't paying attention and got his own hand with the pad back in his face. then he got a shot to the shoulder and he couldn't even lift his arm. These guys are half his age. I would love to win this for him. It's our tenth anniversary on march 8th. I would love to show him how much I love him by giving a gift of health to let him know i want him around for another 10 years at the very least. lol

I love that it's 20 minutes, three times a week and a workout hubby wouldn't mind doing with me, lol. This is just what we need to get us both on the road to fitness and on our way to training for the Undy 5000 5K in October to raise awareness and money for colon cancer research. This is very important to both of us as my dad is bravely battling the disease right now.

When I was first brought to this site, I thought I wanted to try to win for my husband, because he's always wanted to try using kettlebells, but now I'm not sure! I love that it only takes 20 minutes, 3 times a week for this workout! Plus, in reading the FAQ's, I noticed that it doesn't cause you to bulk up, just tone, which is what I would prefer being a woman! :-) I also like that it's easy to learn-I'm not very coordinated, so I need workouts that don't require much coordination! LOL!
