Sweet Potatoes so good it should be a dessert

Spray a frying pan with Pam.

Slice up yams or sweet potatoes, (same thing according to the "Self Scanner" at the grocery store), into round thin slices and layer on the bottom of a large frying pan. I recommend one yam per person.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. I honestly don't measure. I just give a nice layer to the top of all the yams.

Keep on medium heat until the yams start to soften. Flip the sweet potatoes and sprinkle the other side.

Now here comes the good part: When the yams are soft enough but not mush, turn off the heat and serve on plate drizzling them with honey!

Can this possibly be good for you? 54 Calories per sweet potato, 1.2 grams protein, 21 grams sodium, and only 12 carbs. Add cinnamon and nutmeg both with health benefits and the ever so good natural source of sugar, honey (64 cal. per Tbs, but we are just drizzling).

Did you know that if you eat honey from your local farms that the bees are making honey with pollens in your area and can help reduce your allergies? Yup, those bees are pretty smart.

So enjoy a great potato "dessert" with you next family dinner. This is something your kids will for sure love.
