Sandalwood Soap Giveaway

Sandalwood Soap Giveaway:

I am going to tell you something that is going to make you fall out of your seat and right on the floor. I do NOT have internet at my house. Can you believe it? I didn't think so. YHH has been running on a laptop in various locations for almost a year. Library, coffee shop, bookstore, friends' house, family's house, anywhere my laptop would pick up Wifi. (Thanks to all those who let me hang out on your computer and use your internet. Love ya!).

But thanks to my perseverance, I finally found a company who will run internet back to my house. My husband and I live about 650 feet off the main road. And the main road is not like most of you are used to, I am sure. We are back in the woods. I love the peace and quiet but modern day life is just reaching us now. After several phone calls to several companies for about two years (perseverance), an internet company has agreed to run cable back to my house for a normal installation fee. Praise God!

But this brought me to thinking of this word, Perseverance.

Wikepedia says: Perseverance is a term for human endurance. Dictionary.com's explanation is: steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.

This relates to everything in our lives but to me it's working out. I want to persevere and conquer my goals. I want to have the endurance I need to reach my weight and physical goals. I want to continue to reach my goals no matter the obstacles or difficulties in making time for my workouts. If I miss a day, I don't get down on myself. I just make time the next day and then the next. Being healthy to me is a way of life, not some 90 day diet. I want to encourage all of you to persevere and reach your goals. No matter if it takes 6 months or 2 years. Keep going until you reach your goal. Then, make another one.

So in celebration of the internet being hooked up at the end of this next month, I have picked up several organic Sandalwood Soaps made in China from a local organic store. (I know what your thinking. Everything is made in China. But these are authentic organic soaps. Believe me, you won't be able to read the label; that's how made in China they are.)

I would like to give these soaps away to three individuals. All you have to do to enter is:

#1 Be a subscriber or subscribe today. (Once you are a subscriber you are automatically entered in all YHH giveaways for the life of your subscription.)

#2 Be a follower for a second change to win.

# 3 Leave me a comment on how much weight you have lost and how you feel. If it's 5 pounds or 50, each of us has a story. (Or how much weight you plan on losing). I want to hear stories of perseverance.
Contest ends on April 6th at midnight. Good Luck!

Coming in May: YHH is going to start posting more giveaways, recipes, slide shows of proper form when lifting weights, workout routines, and much much more. So subscribe today, if your not, and be a part of an incredible group of people who are changing the way they look at themselves and are making an effort everyday to have a Happy Heart.

Blessings, Angie Taylor

I really need to drop 15 lbs. My son is getting married in a few months, and I seriously need motivation, I just can't seem to be consistent in my exercise or diet.

I lost 8 lbs and plan to lose another 15. It feels so good to be able to fit into my clothes better. I cannot wait to dig out my pre-pregnancy clothes again

I used to live out in the woods, too, 600 feet from the main road. The cable company wanted $1 a foot to run the line. Now, if they'd run the line for free or for a normal installation charge, they'd have had several years worth of monthly payments. My aunt and uncle, who lived next door, would've subscribed, too. Instead, they lost all that business, because we did without until affordable satellite access came along (first Primestar then DirecTV). We just had dial-up back then. When we moved, the first thing I did was sign up for a cable modem. I don't think I could ever go back!

I've lost 30 pounds since November 2007 and I'm determined to drop another 20 although I've slacked off lately. It's actually a neat feeling not to have to buy "plus" size clothes anymore and I don't cringe when I look in the mirror. It took a lot of work (Weight Watchers) and I walked the treadmill for 45 minutes after work three times a week. I have to say that the walking is what really helped a lot. Last June my daughter and I went to Space Camp and if I hadn't already been a "walker", I'd have died...they really walk you all over at Space Camp and I was so happy that I could keep up without a problem.

I really have a lot of weight to lose. I have started walking at least three days a week, sometimes more. It will be a long road for me, but for my health, I really need to do this, I am over 50, also, which makes it harder yet more important.

thanks

I have been going to the gym regularly this winter because I put on 10 extra pounds which is alot for me since I am short and small. This is harder than ever to lose since I am older too. But I continue to work at it daily and by Spring or summer I hope to reach my goal.

I have lost and gained over 400lbs in my life. I started starving myself as a young teen. It seems that with emotional trauma I comfort myself with food and my weight soars.

Right now I'm very overweight, a type 2 diabetic, trying to eat well and get some exercise. My casis is complicated as I have severe psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Ugh lol

Thanks

I do not know how many pounds I have lost because I don't have a scale. However, I do know that I have taken 10 inches off of my waist since I started taking better care of myself in January. I feel so much better, both physically and emotionally.

I need to lose 21 pounds. A year ago I was put onto some medication and slowly started gaining weight. I've never had a problem maintaining my weight until I was put onto the medication. My perseverance comes from the meddical condition I have called Uveitis and what I do to get treatment for it. I travel from NE to MA every six weeks for treatment often sleeping in the airports and eating with the homeless in order to save money to afford the trips and treatment. That is my perseverance. Thank you for the chance to win the soap. If I were to win, I'd have a great soap with a wonderful scent to help me relax and ease my mind.

I lost 85 pounds when I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2003. Sadly I have regained some of that weight. I need to lose about 50 pounds and I'm working on it.

I lost about thirty lbs right after I had my baby and in the time since lost about twenty very slowly but surely. I have lost all of my pregnancy weight and then some but need to lose about twenty five more. I take long walks till my legs are sore with the baby and do cardio with comcast on demand. I'm still nursing a bit so I can't lower my calories under 1500 but I can make sure I choose good calories...

IN THE LAST 3 YRS I HAVE LOST 100 LBS. I HAVE TO DO IT SLOWLY BECAUSE OF A MYRIAD OF HEALTH PROBLEMS. BUT I STILL WANT AND NEED TO LOSE 180 LBS. I GET VERY DISCOURAGED. I NEVER LOST ANY OF MY BABY WEIGHT FROM HAVING 3 KIDS. PLUS I GAINED 40 LBS NURSING MY FIRST SON FOR 4 MONTHS AND NEVER LOST IT. THEN CAME A HUGE WEIGHT GAIN FROM MEDICATION AND MORE WHEN MY HUSBAND DIED. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?? LIFE IS GOOD.
